[sdiy] Spectra Symbol SoftPot=Ribbon Controller?

A bit of a late entry on this thread, but the first generation
E-Mu XL-7's used this as a ribbon controller. Some other pieces used are
a custom pad by Interlink Electronics (www.interlinkelec.com) for the Akai
MPC series, and Roland copied this design partially when they built the
R-8.
