A year or so ago, I started a thread here, when I had a 7912
that was going out of range. I now only use 78.., setup slightly different
for the negative voltage. They seem to be a lot more stable.

I needed a 7K load to tame the 7912.
78.. always seem te be happy with no load whatoever.
