[sdiy] Organ module?

Hello everyone, i've just got hold of a Bonotron
electroton artist and i'm wondering if anyone knows
what this is? I think it is a piece of an electric
organ but i'm not sure. ´While opening it i found a
cable that's supposed to stick out trough a hole in
the wooden box it's built into containing 6*12 cables,
sounds like a keyboard cable for 6 octaves to me...

Anyone?
