   Well it's probably their loss that they haven't charged you sales tax, 
so I doubt that they will send you a bill for back-taxes if you tell them 
that you are buying for "personal use".
   Just make sure that you mention "personal use" in the order fields 
somewhere or check that option if given (Digi-Key has such an option in 
their payment page).
   So don't worry about it!  Just order your parts!  Newark is less savvy 
towards the DIY'er, but they have some good stuff that you can't get 
through the other distributors.
