I was a glutton for Galaxian and 'Robotron 2084'. (Liked Defender, but just
could never seem to get the hang of the scrolling). The thread here got me
searching the net, and I found a site where you can play demos of some of
these games. The emulation is terrific...video and audio are exactly what I
remember:

www.shockwave.com/sw/games/arcade/

Only problem is having to use your computer keyboard as a controller :( The
player interface was a big part of the games, and for Robotron you really
need the dual joysticks ;)

I also had Atari plug-in cartridges for my Commodore 64 for both Robotron and
Galaxian. I thought the 64 did a pretty good job of duplicating the sounds of
original arcade games.
