    My efforts at finishing up the Midi->CV converter for my synth were
thwarted today by an uncooperative AVR...;^)

    Or, at least, that is my story.  Still not sure what the problem
it.  I can see the Midi data going into the Uart pin, but the Uart sure
as heck doesn't seem to realize it.  In an effort to debug it, I soon
discovered that the AVR wasn't behaving well at all.  Nothing seems to
make sense, can't even get LED's to count correctly...so, it looks like
I will be starting over again back at the STK200 card to try and make
sense of it all...I also remember why I hate microcontrollers...they can
be difficult to debug at times.
