I just got out the data book to refresh my memory here. The main
problem with these things is that the wave form must be clean. In other
words, the zero crossing must occure only twice per cycle. Real aduio
signals rarely meet this critera. Second problem is getting rid of the
ripple. Third problem is these things are not very accurate.
Personally, I think the first two problems are going to be difficult
enough to over come.
