Possibly the Allen-Bradley ModPot modular potentiometer?
They were $10 per section, so a dual concentric pot was $20, or eight for
$160. This was in quantities of 100.
Remember Allen Bradley push buttons are $98 (oil tight).
The factory is right down the street, an Orwellian monolith 1 block x 1
block in size, painted November gray.
