[sdiy] spring reverb.......

Hello,
I've built the spring reverb schematics i have found
on the web (such as the one's at Accutronics site) but
with little luck. In these cases i usually start from
scratch using the schematics as guides. Anyway, I've
gotten to the point where I have close to enough gain
but now have a nasty distortion. One problem might me
that i don't know the values of my tanks. Any tips
would be very appreciated. I'm a beginner and not sure
where to go from here. Excuse the crude artwork ; )
