[sdiy] Molex connectors

There are many, many different type/sizes/configurations of Molex connectors.

They call the plastic plug part the Pin and Socket Housing, and it is
either a plug or receptacle (male/female).

What you need is the Pin and Socket Crimp Terminals.

You need to know exactly what type of housing it is before you can
find out what terminals you need.

The Molex web site is...
http://www.molex.com
...but it can be confusing, unless you know exactly what you want.

For example, these are the connectors (I think) I need for my
Oberheim SEMs, search on the part numbers using the Molex website to
see what these look like...

THE WHITE PLASTIC 'PLUG' ON THE WIRES...
1.57mm (.062") Diameter Standard .062 Pin and Socket Plug Housings,
1-24 Circuits, 1-3 Rows 1625p
Molex Part Number: 03-06-2032

THE WHITE PLASTIC 'RECEPTACLE' ON THE PCB...
1.57mm (.062") Diameter Standard .062 Pin and Socket Receptacle
Housings, 1-24 Circuits, 1-3 Rows 1625r
Molex Part Number: 03-06-1032

MALE PINS FOR INSIDE THE PLUGS...
1.57mm (.062") Diameter, Standard .062" Pin and Socket Crimp
Terminal, Series 1560, Male, with Tin (Sn) Plated Brass Contact,
18-24 AWG, Bag
Molex Part Number: 02-06-2103

FEMALE PINS FOR THE PCB...
1.57mm (.062") Diameter, Standard .062" Pin and Socket PC Tail
Terminal, Series 1779, Female, with Tin (Sn) Plated Brass Contact, Bag
Molex Part Number: 02-06-7103
