I'd sign up as well, and already have a yahoo ID (machinerygod, of
course) Not a whole lot of time nor video expertise to contribute
circuits, but I'm highly interested in dabbling with video
manipulation in conjuction with noise shows I've been doing.(playing
behind a floral patterned sheet with porno projected on it and us by somebody is
interesting but not entirely orginal, so I'm looking at other options)
I have a number of scan converters and LCD panels lying around that
I'm looking to put to use, along with an old Infocus projector.

Coincidentally, is there any reason why a normal audio mixer couldn't
be used to mix video signals together in a pinch?

There is an article in the january 1999 issue of electronics now on
building a device called the video palette II to perform simple
effects on video. I may be able to scan it for interested parties.

BTW, vector IS damn cool. I'm lucky enough to have a Vectrex game
console around the house to play with.
