i know this isnt really the correct list, but maybe one of you can help me out. My roland mkb-200 controller works intermittently. Most of the time, when you start up, various lights pop on, green and red.... sometimes all of them, sometimes just a few and some disfigured digit appears on the lcd/ed? screen-making strange symbols that are absolutely useless- and no midi is sent. Very occasionally i will turn it on with a freindly "11" on the lcd/ed? and work like a charm. When it is not working, if you switch it on, and off, and on repeatedly, the lights will change, and the disfigured digit/symbol will change... but only on rare occasions does it work correctly. I opened it up and saw some of the grounds dissconnected, so i re wired and soldered those, but it didnt seem to help, and i have absolutely no idea where to go from there. I dont have much experience with electronics but figured that this was as good a time as ever to learn.
By the way, a few of the keys do not work properly; double triggering or not working at all, is there any solution to this problem?
any help appreciated
