control voltage problem

is it possible to get an output of - 5V to + 5V with one potentiometer?  and 
have the output be 0V when the potentiometer is in the middle?

if anyone has a circuit that will do this, please email me directly.  i cant 
seem to come up with a circuit that will do this.  preferably a dc circuit 
powered by batteries.  thanks.
