Too bad. I like good noise in a flanger. Digital flangers and
plugins sound too clean to me after growing up with an MXR stompbox
flanger. Despite the fact that I have called the local airport noise
complaint line many times(*), I like the "jet flying overhead" affect
from the MXR.
Tom.
(*) Although not since 9/11. The silence for a week or so afterwards,
broken only by the occaisional F-16 or whatever, was creepy. I'm now
of the opinion that the "please pardon our noise, it's a sound of
freedom" signs seen around military bases would be more applicable to
commercial aircraft.
