Hi everybody,
I have to bother you again with my stubborn ASM VCO.
Now I've made a new PCB with 2 VCO's on it (followed the design guidelines
for the LM311 as close as possible), tested it and wondered that ONE of the
VCO works perfectly (absolutely stable, with a great usable range) but the
OTHER ONE swings at ~30kHz (which is not much influenced by the control
voltage). The strangest thing is that it also swings when the current from
the expo's is not connected. Where does the integrated current then come
from?? I pray it's not the LM311 self-oscillating. If you have any ideas
please help me!!
Otherwise I'm going CRAZYYYYY %-)
regards,
flo
