This is very interesting. 
Actually I enjoy a certain degree of slipping across the surface (especially
when I apply aftertouch). But maybe there is something such as 
overdoing the smoothness of the surface.

I do *not* come from the piano, but I feel comfortable on a light
grand-piano action like the Wurlitzer and on most  synthesizer keyboards.
The "hammer action" type of electric pianos I find difficult to play -
this seems to fit into your description. But on these, my muscles
get tired - no hurting fingertips as from the glossy Technics keyboard.
