Okay, having had this proven to me, the issue is that carpal tunnel
actually *starts* in the area between your shoulder blades, and, like
in my case, is sometimes caused by back problems in that area (I have
a disk about 30 degrees out rotated in that area).
If a person *truly* has carpal tunnel, I have been shown, both by a
Chinese reflexologist/Chigung healer and a Chiropractor that pressing
in that area can give nearly instant relief. Operations merely ensure
money in the doctors pocket and a trip back in 5 years to remove the
scar tissue in most cases.
Go to a Chiro or reflexologist and have them work on it. After about
4-5 sessions, you should see relief. Head position during typing can
also become part of the problem by causing the upper back to fall out
of alignment and cause nerve irritation of the nerve that continues
downward into the arms.
Its worth it to not have to go to an MD.. Some day I will tell you how
I miraculously got rid of heel spurs with large doses of calcium
citrate malate and magnesium, much to the chagrin of the MD who swore
I needed an operation, only to X-ray my feet again to find them gone.
;) He thought he mixed up the films. hehe..
