A couple of ideas that keep my hands together in the punk-rock circuit.
Instead of modifying the keys, you might try some different treatments on
your hands!

For playing electric bass guitar (which'll take your fingertips off in a
jiffy if you're out of shape), a few drops of super glue tend to work well.
Put a couple drops on the pad of your finger and let it dry.

For drums, I use athletic tape when the calluses aren't enough.

There are also these little things that you can put on your fingertips for
better traction.  Office workers wear them so they don't have to keep
licking their fingers when sorting papers.  Maybe they also offer a little
cushioning?
