I feel the same way about glue, but Blue Loctite isn't permanent. It also works
well, in preventing a nut from loosening over time, or from vibration. Lock
washers, used along with Loctite, are a nice reliable combination.

Have you ever seen a catalog from a company called "Small Parts" (located in
the USA)? They sell all sorts of small and often-exotic hardware. They also
sell some hard-to-find tools as well.
They probably have just the washers you are looking for. In fact, don't be
surprised if they offer the size of washer you need, manufactured from your
choice of different materials. For example, they have various types of washers
made from the following materials:
Beryllium Copper, Ceramic, Felt, Fiberglass, Hard Fiber, Nylon, Phosphor
Bronze, PTFE (Teflon), Silicon Bronze, Stainless Steel, and Titanium
Here is their website: www.smallparts.com
I've noticed that they now have their catalog accessible on-line, as a
collection of PDF files. In the past, their paper catalogs had more content
than the web site, but it seems that might have changed, with these PDF pages.
If you like what you see on the site, I'd still get a paper copy of the catalog
to browse. I just like reading paper, much more than a computer monitor.
I hope that helps,
Glen
