There is a list called "levnet" that you should join... there is a lot
of discussion and
opinion about tube vs transistor theremins from an artistic perspective.

Remember that these folks often own ORIGINAL vintage theremins... some
having belonged to famous artists in the genre. So (imho) some opinions
may be
a little non-objective...

If you join tell them that "that crazy bastard with the quantized
theremin" sent you.

I had to unsubscribe... the signal to heterodyne ratio was WAY too much
for me...
I actually started feeling my life had become unmanageable. Two days
after the unsub
my life turned the corner (up) again  ;^).    There are some nice
interesting folk there... but the tech content was near zero.   (viva
S-DIY!)

You are correct, the Etherwave has many of the same analog synth
components...
The illuminati say it does NOT sound as good as the original RCA
theremins...

I don't care... I use it to drive a synth anyway. I get any sound I want
!!!   ;^)
