    That I do not know about.  In the Therimin documentary I have, Clara
is asked about the Moog Therimin, and she called it an inferior
instrument...although, it was unclear if she was refering to the Moog
Tube or solid state Therimin.

    You can use a synth to imitate almost anything...but only imitate.
It would be very difficult to duplicate the way the therimin is played
with a synth, unless you build a controller that operates the same.  The
Therimin does not actually have a VCO in it, it is a tuned RF oscilator,
the tuning of which is addjusted by the proximity of your body to the
antena (I am trying to keep this as simple as posible).  Therimin
himself discovered how to do this by messing with radios he was working
on.
