[sdiy] Roland RS-09 and helipots

Hi
    I just got a Roland RS-09 and I was wondering if anyone had the
schematics for this thing or if anyone knew what the envelope mode
switch does on the string section Release. I can not tell a
difference between the two. Also, I have been trying to hunt down
some helipots for a ribbon controller but have had no luck. Anyone
know a source for these in the US or if they go by other names?
