In Japan, 2SA798 (Mitsubishi) already discontinued.
Replaced with 2SA1349, 2SA1618,1873 (Toshiba), 2SA1927,1928 (Mitsubishi)
2SA1927,1928 is good to replace 2SA798, I think.

These devices are \100 (about $0.75 - 0.8) each in retail parts stores.
