Hello and Howdy Marc,
I'm Oren,
Welcome to the List. There's lots of serious talent here in everything
from vacuum-tube synths to 'bleeding edge' digital technology to
old-school 1970's analog modulars to early digital synths to Theremin
to.........well just about anything you could possibly NOT imagine...
Myself, I'm into the 'old-timey' stuff - analog modulars based on
designs from the 60's and 70's with maybe a twist of something new
thrown in. I've been into electronics in general for the past 30 years,
synths for 20, computers and computer graphics programming for about 20
years, and just plain mad science since the day I was born.
Great bunch of loyal synth enthusiasts here - never any problems with
'flame wars', 'spammers', or any of the other vermin that plague other
lists.
Enjoy!!!
