[sdiy] Where to start?

I really appreciate all the feedback I've gotten here, this is an incredible
mailing list.  
I'm gonna start with the Art of Electronics since it is so highly
recommended by a lot of people here, but I'm wondering if anybody has the
"Student Manual for the Art of Electronics" and if so, is it also worth
having?
