What is the core of an op-amp? It's the input transistor pair, usually (but not
necessarilly) followed with an output cursuit.
If you look around, you will find that you can do the same with tubes. So, you
can acheive similar setups with tubes. Naturally you can do things differently
yeat. Also, you can take some inspiration from FET cursuits if you run out of
luck with tube cursuits, but be aware that some tubes have a shifted resonce
curve for their Vgs to whatever output waveform than tubes.
I strongly recommend you to pick up a few books on tubes, it helps to get one
started. However, I trust Eric Babour more than myself to give good
recommendations. Eric?
Cheers,
Magnus
