[sdiy] Need help with Nearly Dead Polymoog

All,

Well I finally got my hands on the schematics and service manual for
this beastie. I believe I have narrowed the problem down to the Top Left
control board. (By going through the Service Manual troubleshooting
procedures of checking voltages off of the accessory jack on the rear
panel.)

Any thoughts on common problems within this particular board I should
look for? Before I start poking around every single component...ughhh.

Thanks again!

Tony

Hi Tony,

Check the opto controlled output volume control circuit. Also see if you
can get any output from the individual outs of the instrument. The
direct output should work even if nothing else does. Without schematics
it would be a truly horrible to fix.

Other tips and gruesome photos at:

But I gave on mine because I hated the keyboard action. :-(
