Thanks for all your private replies; I tapped 12V AC from the internal
side of the transformer in my SDS-800, and now I have MIDI trigger
control of the four voices... hooray!
...now I just have to drill holes for four 1/4" jacks for the other
four triggers, two panel-mount DIN sockets for the MIDI in and thru, and
a computer-style power socket to replace the current attached cable...
into the steel casing! Ouch! This is going to suck...
Wow, though - a MIDI-triggerable Simmons SDS-800, combined with MIDI
trigger control of a modded Boss PC-2 Percussion Synth and a Boss HC-2
Hand Clapper, and MIDI-triggers running the arpeggiator on a Juno-60 and
the trigger-in on my SH-101... throw a MIDI clock my way, I'm ready for
battle!
