Your best bet is to copy the parts to a new library
so you can find them all. (see below)

I'll omit the painful way I've been doing this,
involving the CUT command (that *doesnt* cut - argh)
and give you the short answer, courtesy of the
cadsoft newsgroup..
Zeroth, go get the libedit program from cadsoft's
web site. It's on the 'Miscellaneous' page in the
'Downloads' section.
First, you need to open the library you want to
borrow a part from in the library editor.
Go to File, Export.. and select Script on the menu
that appears. Save the file someplace.
Second, launch LibEdit and open the file you just
saved. Create a new destination file, and copy
what you want.
Third, [yes, this is the EASY way], create a new
library in EAGLE, and use the File, Script.. command
to invoke the file you copied the parts to.
Much flashing will occur. Then save the new library.
Note: you can repeat steps 1 and 2 for as needed
(using the same destination) to create the final
library you want.
