I'm not sure about that. There are some Hammond lovers out there who pay large
amounts of money for old Hammond gear. Of course, the problem is finding one of
these people when you need them.   :)

There's a Hammond D-155 on eBay at the moment. It seems to be in good
condition, and comes with speaker cabinet. The seller is asking for $1,800 in
his "buy it now" option. I wonder if he'll find a buyer within the next 7 days,
at that price?
