My Dad is trying to get rid of an old organ. I don't know at this
time if it will be up for grabs, but if somebody is interested, at least
I can tell him he won't have to pay to have it hauled to the dump (which
is where it will go if nobody will take it).
I should have written down what it is, but here is what I remember.
It is a model "D" Hammond Organ with Leslie Speaker. This is a very
old model. It was originally a different model but was later upgraded
(please take all I am saying with a grain of salt, some of the details I
may have slightly wrong). The cabinet is showing its age. My Dad says
it is either from the late 40's, maybe even pre WWII.
The Price: If you take both the speaker and the organ, it is free,
seperately, well no amount of money will get you just one piece. If you
live in So. Cal (SLO to LA), I will be willing to load the thing in the
back up of Pick Up and bring it to you. Otherwise, you have to provide
your own transportation. Please keep in mind that if this thing were in
perfect working order, it would probably be worth only about $250.
So, let me know if you are interested. If it becomes availiable, it
will go on a first come basis.
