This must be that new internet-inspired law that says that all new bolt 
cutters made after January 2002 must be welded to a heavy bench to help 
prevent people cutting cryptonite locks on bicycles. I believe opponents 
were saying at the time that it was just that Police would now be able to 
detect bicycle thieves because they'd be the ones toting a sodding great 
work bench under their jackets.

Personally I prefer a class 4 pulse laser.

Actually this isn't such a bad idea really if you've got a local laser 
cutting place and you have 50 pots to do. Just mount them all to a bit of 
wood or something, or even your intended front panel, and say. "Could you 
please zap these all off at about 7mm thanks. Pow! Done!
