I was the originator of the 'Warning' message to the sdiy list which I
believe was fully justifiable. This was sent after:
1) A month of waiting for parts to arrive, 4 weeks after they SHOULD
have arrived.
2) About 5 unanswered email messages to both of Quinton's email
addresses for an explanation of the delay had been sent.
And . . .
3) My attempt to recover the money from Paypal failed.
(They replied saying Quinton was indeed at fault for not sending the
parts, but were unable to recover my funds).
Quite obviously, I thought I had been ripped and offered the warning
to others.
To set the record totally straight, the parts DID eventually arrive
about two and a half months after placing the order, with an apology
from Quinton.
I mean this guy no ill, and hope that he is able to trade with others
more easily now. I would give the guy a second chance, and hope others
would do the same.
