Hi,
Any more details on this PureData thing? What is the protocol used?
I can buy AD1861 (18-bit DAC) for 2.5EUR, so making 16 CVs
without muxing seems almost reasonable.
And when we think about muxing one DAC to 16 caps it's getting
dirt cheap. But slower response tho...

""Hello,
""
""There is a musical software like Csound, called PureData that
""allows (with
""an external lib) to send datas thru the serial port of a PC.
""
<snip>
""Moreover, it is possible in PureData to generate software LFO
""and ENV,etc,
""specially if the serial port can be open at good speed.
""It is the important point. Serial port can be opened at least
""until 115000bps
""and PD should send bytes very steadily thru it. (i hope)
""
""Do you think it make sense, is feasable ?
""The cost should be very reasonnable even with 16 CV outs, right ?
