I had a great synth DIY weekend too.
I built jig to convert my Workmate into a router table so that I can trim
aluminum front panels to size.
I drove down to Portland. Stopped at Powell's. Could have spent the whole
day there. I bought Curtis Roads, "The Computer Music Tutorial" and several
other electronics books. I next stopped at Da Lode Surplus and bought a bag
full of 10 turn pots and banana jacks. Last stop was at R/5 D/3 Electronic
Surplus where I bought some "zero" tubes and a 1629 "magic eye" tube. I have
always wanted to build a synth module with a winking "magic eye".

Could you glue two single row connectors together?
