[sdiy] midi to cv/gate

Thanks. The panel is not that important at this time, I am gonna redo the
Formant in a case with 2 3U 19" panels, and 2 6U 19" panels, this will be
the last time I add something to the Formant, and since the formant already
has some internal connections, it's a 'semi' modular, I will leave the
concept of one small panel per module, much cheaper to make 4 large panels,
than to do 24 small ones.
The case will be low and deep, like:
------
/ |
--------- |
| |
_____________
so in the future I will be able to put a large high but not deep case on top
of it that will contain MOTM, Oakley etc modules. What I am doing to the
formant now is making the layout of the panels look more like the MOTM, and
using knobs/colors/jacks etc that match the appearance of the MOTM.
Nevertheless, the MIDIdac2 looks very good, I will have to add up the price
of the pcb, shipping etc, and the cost of the components, to see what the
total price would be and how that compares with the paia module.
Thanks a lot for your suggestion though.
Rob
