Tube scope (was Re: [sdiy] oscilloscope considerations)

I got an old tube oscilloscope on ebay.

It's a Loral 553 , a military unit and it looks very vintage.

Now, I don't know to use any scope and find hard to understand the specific
tool on this Loral

Surfing on the Net, I do not found the manual.

So , anyone knows where I can find some info about this scope (how to use
it) and if is useful for Synth DIY testing ?
