[sdiy] Soldering problems...

I bought once from surplus lead free solder with something like 3% of
silver in it. I feel like a jewlery maker when soldering with it.
Unfortunately it leaves matt surface, like it would be oxidized too much
or used at too high temperature. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...
And the flux in it smells so bad...
