[sdiy] distortion problems with JX-10

 Hi all. I am having some trouble with my Roland Super JX-10. I have it giong into a Behringer mixer which in turn goes out into my computer which then has the speakers connected. the speakers are crappy, but I do not think that is the problem as I have 7 other synths in the same setup that do not have the same problem.
 The JX has 6 out puts one of which is a headphones. No matter which output I use (less so the headphones) I get a distorted signal at levels that should not be distorting. I do not know if it is the synth, or something I am doing wrong. It happens mainly when playing chords, but also with single notes. There is a noticeable improvment when using the headphones output. 
 Any ideas? Like I said I have 7 other synths in the setup that do not have the same problem.
