[sdiy] DIY - DCB to MIDI convertor

I read in the archives about someone trying to make 
their own MIDI to DCB convertor. (Dr. Steve Grainger)

I have a Juno 60 with 14-pin Centronics DCB.
I found info on the Music Mahcines site about how each 
pin functions.

Any idea on How I can transfer the MIDI data into DCB 
data?
Has anyone been successful at making their own MIDI to 
DCB convertor?
I am not as interested in making a DCB to MIDI as MIDI 
to DCB.
