I finished my Bucchla 208 oscillator clone today. It is an incredible
toy. I was a little scepticle about the vactrol based balanced
modulator. I am completely converted now. I is a really good working
circuit, and it is really easy to set up.

I grounded the mod input, and trimmed the output for zero bleed through.
It works cool. It is really neat to have 3 switches a few pots and so
many strange possibilities. Harmonic sounds (of serveral different
kinds) to sine from voltage. I like it, even without a filter after it!

ha.

BTW. I used a 3080 in the core of the complex oscillator, but descrete
transistors in the modulation oscillator. I changed the mode select
section in the modulator, since I just wanted one output. I used
2N3819's for the FETs and real Vactrols. FYI.
