No, you shouldn't have to do that.. If you tap into the trigger chain
further down the line.. IIRC, it senses a 13v level, but then its knocked
down to 5v later in the chain, and then used to trigger/gate.
Maybe try board A, Z1, pin 8..Tie directly to that from the jack center pin.
That should do it, although I haven't personally tried it yet.
Whats cool about that is that you get to take advantage of the inherent
delay within the circuit and the trigger shaper of the arp itself.
At least it won't blow anything up, so thats good. ;)
