[sdiy] MIDI/CV sync LED lit plastic panel?

I have not seen mentioned the fact that each channel of the PAIA MIDI2CV is
already equipped with a transistor suitable for driving an LED.

John calls these 'S' trigger channels, but this is just clever Johnspeak for
"I knew you would need a transistor here". (Or possibly "I forgot to put the
LED holes on the drill drawing and now the silkscreening is done and it is
too late, how can I explain the transistors?")

Just connect an LED with resistor to the open collector of the transistor on
each channel. Disconnect the lead from the stereo ring. You may want to play
with the value of the 33K base resistor to taste.

I am a long time John Simonton fan, and my bit of humor is intended with the
greatest affection and admiration.
