[sdiy] ASM-1 VCO LM311 Question

    If I remember correctly, on the LM311, Pin 1,4 need to go to -15,
and 5,6,8 need to go to +15.  Pin 1, I seem to remember, is the emitter
of the output transistor.  In order to turn the discharge FET off, the
output needs to go to a large negative voltage.
