Hi,
just a quick comment that I agree that some of the parts used in
Electronotes may not be easily available any more ......
so although I think the ideas present in Electronotes are still relevant
, some of the designs may need adapting .
[I've only got the Prefered circuits collection which I bought from
Bernie H a couple of years ago ].
I think that although most people have web access today , it may not be
free [ I know it usually is in the Usa ], so having to download large
files/documents can cost a significant amount of money.
but it is nice to have this as an option provided it doesn't infringe
anyone's copyright .its also very nice to have effectively access to a
large library of information at home ,through the internet .
I think we do have a valuable resource with the synth diy list , but the
amount of work needed to write a "How to build a synth yourself "
site is considerable .
I think the info about the Asm 1 is most usefull and many thanks to
Magnus for maintaining the web site .
especially since the PCB's are available ,it makes it a good project
for someone starting out ,as it can be hard enough to troubleshoot on a
design that you know the pcb board layout is correct.
