[sdiy] MAX435 WTA - Can i sub this for OTA?

Hey everyone..  

I just received a few pieces of MAX435 Wideband Transconductance Amp's..  I've been having a heck of a time finding OTA's on semiconductor company's sample programs..  I'm wondering if i can use these in place of the OTA's in circuits like VCF's and such..   Of course I would wire it up accordingly..  Just trying to figure out if I can use them before i waste some time breadboarding circuits..
