I have been looking at the codevision C compiler ( http://www.hpinfotech.ro/
), which I believe is the one you use Paul. It looks like the current version
is very attractive. It also looks like it might be posible for a beginner to
get code up and running fairly quickly with it.

I just upgraded my Image Craft AVR C compiler last night. It looks like
CodeVision has had an influence on them. Many of the features of the CodeVision
compiler have been implemented in the ImageCraft.

For those considering an AVR C compiler...My first vote would be for the
CodeVision, although this is not based on actually having used the CodeVision,
only on a description and what I have heard from other users.
