Y-ellow All.
People who've known me for a long time know my tongue-in-cheek but
all too frustrating attitude toward guitarists. Whatever you think of the
intelligence of drummers, most of the ones I've worked with are Einsteins
compared to guitarists. So it is with great pleasure that I present to you
the quickest repair job of all time.
Recently on eBay I saw a Zoom505 fx peddle. The seller claimed "It lights
up and it makes a sound but nothing else works." He started bidding at 5
bux and it ended up in my hands for 15. (including post) When it arrived
this afternoon, the first thing I saw was what looked like a bit of match
stick, wood kinda stuff. It was jammed in one of the smaller setting
switches on the side. I flicked it out. Note I flicked it. Not pulled it.
Not resorted to a tool of some kind. I flicked it. The button immediately
popped up and the unit is 100% working.
Time of repair: 5 seconds.
Cost of repair: zero.
Condition: 100%
Street value: $95 - $120
Thank god for Guitarists for they bring thee cheap gear.
Be absolutely Icebox.
