Woops - missing content last time - try again

If confusing ins and outs is that big a problem (and we
all build synths on this list so we should know the difference),
then why not female for outputs and male for inputs.  It is
possible to get _male_ panel mounting banana plugs and
free (as in end of cable) banana sockets.  (Someone's going 
to ask me where from now, and it'll be days before I remember
where I saw them).  And there are pleny of other inexpensive 
male/female connector types.   Or have I totally missed the 
point?
