Ohhh, damn! We're almost EXTINCT again?; I hate being an endangered
species....

Actually, the number of people who will support a ES (pretty overpriced
stuff) or a Heathkit has dwindled but plenty of folks who would not
bother walking into RS for a few (WAY overpriced) parts will use the web
to order from Mouser or Digi-Key.

Other areas of "tinkering" almost certainly have their sources.
Hobbyists are more specialized and sophisticated and fall under the
radar...

Oops, gotta go; the Velociraptor is HUNGARY!
